The first step of this study involves calculating the complete spectrum of
rovibrational transitions of the (2ν 2 , 2v 4 ) bands of the 12 CD 4 molecule. The Hamiltonian of tetrahedral molecules is expanded to the third order, involving 135 parameters (including 10 related to the ground state level GS) in the Hamiltonian expansion. We utilize the XTDS and SPVIEW programs, developed at the Interdisciplinary Institute of Burgundy (ICB Dijon France), in all our spectrum calculations. The calculation of the infrared spectrum in the region (2ν 2 , 2v 4 ) is performed in the window (1500-2500) cm−1, using 135 parameters, for Jmax=20. |
