An ethnobotanical survey was carried out in the city of Saida, to initiate a floristic and ethnobotanical study of medicinal plants used by the local population in the treatment of liver diseases using a questionnaire form collecting information on the medicinal plant, the disease
and the person surveyed. This ethnobotanical study was carried out on a sample of people spread over different areas of the city, especially Saida hospital, during four weeks in April. The results enabled us to draw up a catalogue of 0 medicinal species used in indigenous therapeutic recipes and to analyze the plant-based therapeutic treatments used by the population concerned. The aim of the study is to help scientific research to produce plant- based medicines to treat. |
