Résumé : | The use of technology was once limited solely to entertainment, but now it permeates all aspects of life, including education. Thanks to technological advancements, students can construct knowledge themselves without relying heavily on their teachers, especially EFL students who can easily improve their integrative skills. The objective of this academic study, conducted at the English department of Saida University, is to explore the role of smart technologies in enhancing EFL learners’ language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. To achieve this objective, the researcher employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative methods through teacher interviews with quantitative methods through the design of a student questionnaire. Findings reveal that learners are motivated when using smart technologies in their learning process, as they believe technology enhances their academic performance and improves the quality of the learning process in classes. At the conclusion of the investigation, the researcher provides recommendations for the effective use of smart technologies in learning to both EFL teachers and learners. |
