Abstract
The independence of constitutional judiciary is considered one of the most important principles in the state. It holds great significance as an institution across various domains, as it reinforces the foundations and pillars of a state based on the sovereignty of the Constitution and the safeguarding of its provisions and principles, as well as the protection of rights and freedoms. This is achieved through the adoption of constitutional review of laws by courts or constitutional councils, depending on the nature of each state's system. To ensure the effectiveness of this constitutional oversight, there are specific provisions and principles that serve as fundamental guarantees for the independence of these bodies and their members. |
