الملخص:
تهدف هذه الدراسة التعريف بمنطقة شرق المتوسط وتحديد أهميتها الجيواستراتيجية و الاقتصادية وتحليل أهم التداعيات بعيدة المدى المترتبة عن توقيع اتفاقية ترسيم الحدود البحرية التركية الليبية (حكومة فايز السراج) في 17/11/2019 على اتجاهات التنافس والتوتر الإقليمي بين دول منطقة شرق المتوسط، تستعرض الدراسة الخلفيات العميقة للتوجهات الجديدة للسياسة البحرية التركية، إستراتيجية تحقيق عقيدة الوطن الأزرق"، خاصة ما يتعلق بتعزيز تواجدها في ليبيا وتقوية مكانتها الإقليمية في المنطقة بعد الاكتشافات الجديدة لحقول الغاز في شرق المتوسط وتقويض دور منتدى غاز شرق المتوسط الذي يجمع اليونان، قبرص، إسرائيل، مصر، والمشاركة في مشاريع نقل الغاز إلى أوروبا. Abstract: This study aims to define the Eastern Mediterranean region and determine its geostrategic and economic importance. It also analyzes the most important long-term implications of the signing of the Turkish-Libyan maritime border demarcation agreement (the Fayez al-Sarraj government, November 17, 2019) on the trends of regional competition and tension among the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region. The study reviews the underlying background of the new directions of Turkish maritime policy, the strategy of achieving the "Blue Homeland" doctrine, particularly with regard to strengthening its presence in Libya and strengthening its regional position in the region following the new discoveries of gas fields in the Eastern Mediterranean. It also undermines the role of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum, which brings together Greece, Cyprus, Israel, and Egypt, and its participation in gas transit projects to Europe. |
