Résumé : |
Power electronics is a discipline within the field of electrical engineering that encompasses
all sciences related to the production, transmission, and use of electricity as a form of energy. The field of power supplies has undergone fundamental changes in circuit topologies. Digital control components are playing an increasingly important role. IGBT and MOSFET power modules, whose losses are constantly decreasing and their capacity is increasing, allow, along with other electronic components, the creation of smaller devices. The goal is always to increase power density (power per unit volume) while reducing costs. The objective of this work is the study and development of a buck-type DC-DC converter used to lower voltage to power certain DSP-based electronic modules. The objective is to develop a chopper capable of supplying a DC voltage of 20V and a power output of up to 20W. This system can be used for practical work using DSP-based digital control, for example. A prototype circuit will be built and experimental tests will be conducted on the DC-DC converter. The experimental implementation was carried out at the Power Electronics Laboratory. |
