Abstract
In this work, we synthesized Aniline matrix nanocomposite by in-situ oxidative chemical polymerization, using ammonium persulfate as oxidant. First we synthesized the Mag-Na reinforcement. Second, we synthesized PANI/Mag-Na nanocomposite. The latter was characterized by FT-IR, DRX and (MEB). The FT-IR analyze show a strong interaction between the reinforcement used and the polymer matrix which increases their stability then the analysis (DRX) confirms the intercalation of the polymer between the sheets of the reinforcement and recently (MEB) confirms the good homogeneous dispersion of the polymer matrix in the interplanar space of the Maghnite, which confirms that the nanocomposite has been obtained successfully. In addition, we studied the adsorption of two dyes called methylene blue and methyl violet by PANI/Mag-Na nanocomposite. The adsorption was under well-determined experimental conditions. The two pollutants have been adsorbed by PANI/Mag-Na according to the Langmuir and Freundlich models respectively. Moreover, time, concentration and pH and seem to have a noticeable effect on the adsorption of methylene blue and methyl violet by the PANI/Mag-Na adsorbent. The kinetic study revealed that the adsorption of methylene blue and methyl violet on the sample follows the pseudo-second order kinetic model. |
