رغم الجهود الكبيرة المبذولة لاتخاذ تدابير وقائية لحماية البيئة، ونظرا الصعوبة إصلاح الأضرار البيئية، وفي ظل الانتهاكات البيئية الصارخة والمخاطر المتزايدة على البشرية، أنشأ المجتمع. الدولي نظاما للمسؤولية الدولية كإجراء تصحيحي للحد من حجم الأضرار البينية. وخشية من احتمال إجبار الدول على دفع تعويضات باهظة في كثير من الأحيان أثيرت تساؤلات حول فعالية نظام المسؤولية الدولية في حماية البيئة. إنجليزية : Despite considerable efforts to take preventive measures to protect the environment, and given the difficulty of repairing environmental damage, in light of flagrant environmental violations and the growing risks to humanity, the international community has established a system of international liability as a corrective measure to reduce the scale of environmental damage. Fearing the possibility of being forced to pay often exorbitant compensation, the effectiveness of the international liability system in environmental protection has been questioned. الفرنسية : Malgré les efforts considérables déployés pour prendre des mesures préventives afin de protéger l'environnement, et compte tenu de la difficulté de réparer les dommages environnementaux, à la lumière des violations flagrantes de l'environnement et des risques croissants pour T'humanité, la communauté internationale a établi un système de responsabilité internationale comme mesure corrective qui réduirait l'ampleur des atteintes à l'environnement. Par crainte d'être contraint de payer des indemnisations souvent.exorbitantes, la question se pose de l'efficacité du système international de responsabilité en matière de protection de l'environnement |
