ملخص
"تعتبر البيئة من المواضيع ذات الأهمية الكبرى على الصعيد العالمي، خاصة في ظل التقدم الصناعي والتكنولوجي الذي عرفته البشرية في العصر الراهن فضلا عن كونها تعد تراثًا مشتركًا للإنسانية،وفي هذا السياق ظهرت المنظمات غير الحكومية آخذة على عاتقها مهمة حماية البيئة، وكان لها دوراا بارزا في هذا المجال. و هذه المنظمات تعتبر من الفواعل الدولية حيث أسهمت بفعالية في التأثير على السياسات البيئية، مستفيدة من مرونتها واستقلالها النسبي وقدرتها على العمل الميداني.وتكمن أهمية دراسة موضوع "دور المنظمات غير الحكومية في حماية البيئة" في كونه من الموضوعات الحديثة التي لم تحظَ –في حدود العلم– بدراسة عربية شاملة، فضلًا عن الغموض الذي يكتنف تمييزها عن غيرها من مكونات المجتمع المدني. وعليه، تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز ماهية المنظمات غير الحكومية، وتحليل دورها في تحقيق الحماية البيئية، وتقييم مدى فعالية تدخلها في مواجهة التحديات الراهنة. Abstract "The environment is considered one of the most important global issues, particularly in light of the industrial and technological progress humanity has witnessed in the modern era, as well as being regarded as the common heritage of mankind. In this context, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have emerged, taking upon themselves the task of protecting the environment, and have played a prominent role in this field. These organisations are regarded as international actors, having contributed effectively to influencing environmental policies, drawing on their flexibility, relative independence and capacity for fieldwork. The significance of studying the topic of ‘The Role of Non-Governmental Organisations in Environmental Protection’ lies in the fact that it is a contemporary subject which, to the best of our knowledge, has not yet been the subject of a comprehensive Arabic study, not to mention the ambiguity surrounding how they are distinguished from other components of civil society. Accordingly, this study aims to highlight the nature of non-governmental organisations, analyse their role in achieving environmental protection, and assess the effectiveness of their interventions in addressing current challenges. |
