Medical emergency situations require prompt and effective intervention, where every second
counts. However, these critical situations are often hindered by communication gaps between patients, medical teams, and emergency services. This thesis aims to address these challenges by proposing an embedded intelligent assistance system. After examining the context of emergency services and first aid principles, the thesis explores the Arduino Uno platform and its ATmega328P microcontroller, providing an overview of their capabilities for embedded solution development. Complementary electronic components, such as a fingerprint sensor, TFT display, and storage module, are then presented. The core of the thesis details the implementation and prototyping of an embedded system capable of identifying patients, displaying their medical information, and storing relevant data. This prototype aims to facilitate the communication of crucial information during emergency interventions. By combining concepts from first aid, embedded electronics, and system design, this thesis offers an innovative solution to optimize patient care and save precious lives |
