Abstract In light of the massive and rapid technological advancements witnessed worldwide today, and the resulting modern innovations—most notably Artificial Intelligence (AI)—applications have expanded across various economic and social fields, including consumer protection. This technology has provided consumers with multiple advantages, particularly in developing marketing methods for products and services, and improving their quality, security, and delivery speed to meet consumer needs. Conversely, these innovations have brought numerous technical and legal challenges that threaten consumer rights, including the right to personal data protection, fair advertising, and the difficulty of establishing legal liability for errors or damages resulting from AI technologies. Therefore, it is imperative to establish effective institutional and legal mechanisms to address these challenges, ensuring a balanced approach between the demands of technological innovation and the necessity of providing legal protection for consumers, alongside strengthening technical oversight and regulatory mechanisms over AI applications. |
